Teen Leadership Summit

TEEN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT Youth from Shoreline’s Youth Advisory Board, YAB, attend an annual leadership summit that promotes and helps develop youth leadership skills. In return, youth in attendance are able to go back to their communities and provide information to their peers, as they help deter substance use.

Sticker Shock Campaign

STICKER SHOCK CAMPAIGN Members of YAB visit local bridal, tux, and floral shops to place messages on garments as a reminder to stay safe during prom season. Youth also visit local businesses that sell alcohol to provide them with stickers to remind customers that it’s illegal for minors to have alcohol.

Project Prom

PROJECT PROM Designed to educate teens during the week of prom about making wise choices. Area high schools are presented with a speaker and/or a crashed car with local statistics.
